Where is the pool?
Our pool is on the edge of Staplehurst to the north. The full address is provided after a booking confirmation. Parking is available on site, and there is a walkable pavement all the way from the village to the pool.
What is the pool like?
The heated indoor pool is 10m by 5m with large steps to one side which allows for easy access. The pool is 1.2m at the shallow end and 2m at the deep end. There is seating inside for parents to watch and wait along with a small changing room and shower.
What should I bring to the pool?
Please bring appropriate swimwear, a towel, swimming hat and goggles. If your child is a reluctant goggle wearer please still bring some so we can work with them to over come this. For children who are not yet potty trained, a swim nappy must be worn at all times in the water. We recommend The Splashabout Happy Nappy Duo.
How do I pay for lessons?
Payments can be made via bank transfer or through our secure online booking system, Soakly, once your session has been confirmed. Our bookings are managed termly and payment is needed before the start of each term.Â
What if my child is nervous?
It is perfectly normal for children to feel a bit anxious. Mhairi and Ellie are highly experienced in working with nervous swimmers and use gentle, confidence-building techniques to help them settle in and enjoy the water.
